Pansy wrapped the cloak around her, the wind was getting cold. But she was determined to have a walk around the Pitch nevertheless.

Ginny was still storming mad after her encounter with Draco-the-prat-Malfoy, aching to have her broom so that she could fly off her ire, but under new school rules only the select few were still permitted the luxury. Naturally no Grffindor made the cut, and her least of all. With little other alternative, she settled for an angry stalk around the pitch, dimly hoping the familiar settings she associated with fun would help soothe her temper.
What did that git even know to begin with? He was a murderer and a pathetic puppet. He knew nothing about her and Harry... Mouth pulling down she kicked a stone moodilly.
So absorbed was she in her wallowing she almost didn't notice the other girl until they were practically face to face, head jerking up at the last moment, her eyes settling on the older girl as she slowed to a halt.
"Parkinson," she greeted her, tone less than enthusiastic as she eyed Malfoy's pet slag.

"I'm afraid if I stay near you to long loose morals might be catching," Ginny deadpanned back before huffing out a breath and physically pushing past the Slytherin, in no mood for the usual sparring that came from any encounter wth the snake house these days. "Shouldn't you be off somewhere kissing Malfoy's arse?"

"And here I thought you were Gryffindor's mascot all along. Weren't you the one jumping from Thomas to Potter and so on last year?" Pansy replied with an icy smile. "I'd rather literally do what you suggested and get my way with things than be ....hmmm, what was it? Oh, yes, banned from flying on a broom, right?" she asked innocently.

"Really, you want to talk about the two boyfriends I had last year compaired to your... what?" she scoffed back, shooting the gobby brunette a scaithing look. "Twenty? No wait... that would imply they actually liked you enough to date. Don't judge me by your tarty standards Parkinson, some of us actually have morals."
"Again, morals, I know they're an alien concept to you," Ginny retorted, shooting her a disgusted look. "And really I don't need to know who else's arse you're kissing. I'm sure the new professors all love it though."

(Sorry for some reason my alerts dont seem to be working properly, had no idea you replied here)
Ginny shot her a look that was equal parts disgust and incredulity.
"How delusional ARE you?" she asked her bluntly before shaking her head. "Disgust is pretty much as far from jealousy as yu can get."

Ginny shot her a strange look at the words. Come on... she couldn't be THAT thick could she?
Then again, maybe to Pansy disgust WAS caring. Bad attention is better then no attention and all that - it at least explained her general behaviours.
"...you really are an embarrassment to your sex, you know that?" she said at last, shaking her head.
As the conversation turned towards the Death Eater invaders however her face shifted back to scorn.
"I've run into them. Let me guess, you've got designs on seducing one or all already."

"Weasley, you give me too much credit," Pansy chuckled. "I'm just a dumb teenager, do you really think any or all would take me serious?" she asked the red-headed while wiggling her eyebrows. "Then again... smooth skin, nice scent... you may be right," she tsked, her eyes dancing in amusement. The youngest Weasley was kind of cute when she got upset.

Ginny cast her a cool look.
"I think you're dumb enough to try," she countered. "And I think they're twisted enough to consider it - Lestrange is fresh out of prison and probably all wound up, and the Carrows... twisted doesn't cover it."
All to easily she could recall the male carrow's hideous arms around her body, holding her tight as he nuzzled at her and carooned in her ear, laughing with his crazy sister as Draco cast on her... Yes, she'd believe that one entirely capable of banging a student. Though she didn't think for a moment the student would enjoy the experience. KNowing him there would likely be a few crucio's in there as well.
With that in her mind, Ginny found herself eying the older girl with a kind of resigned, unethusiastic pity. Pansy was a bitch and more than a little pathetic... but she wasn't a monster like them, not yet. Much as she disliked the Slytherin, she would hate to think of Carrow or one of the others getting their claws into her.
"Do yourself a favour," she said at last, tone becoming serious, intense gaze holding the other girl's blue eyes. "Stay away from them. This isn't a game any more, they'll eat you alive, pureblood or not."
The tone of the comment however was slightly reduced as the brunette made a comment about her own scent and skin, her expression looking somewhere between teasing and flirty. Frowning Ginny shook her head and let out a huff of breath. WHy did she even bother trying?

"Thank you for the advice, flaming hair," Pansy winked at her. "Same goes to you, especially in classes," she leaned closer to Ginny so she could whisper in her ear. She pulled back as if nothing happened. "Though, come to think of it...you could be right about them considering it," she nodded, her eyes over Ginny's shoulder briefly. She feared someone had heard them but she wasn't going to admit that to the Weasley girl.

Ginny stiffened as Pansy leaned in, however at the comment, she shot the older girl a suspicious frown.
Okay... she was up to something. There was no other reason why Pansy would give her advice, especially in an earnest tone, at best she would have expected it to be interlaced with mockery as was her want, even after Ginny had offered her some sincere advice.
"You seem to be being oddly reasonable... what are you up to?" the redhead demanded frankly.

"Quid pro quo, right?" Pansy lifted her hands in the air and chuckled, though her amusement didn't reach her eyes at all. "Oh, don't look so upset, Weaslette.... you don't want wrinkles at such a young age, do you?" the Slytherin added in her usual mocking tone.

"Oh I don't know... staying alive?" she offered back, tone thick with sarcasm. She was the only Weasley in a Death Eater run school after all - her brother was one of the three most wanted people in the country and her former boyfriend the single most wanted. She may as well be wearing a giant target. Surely even Pansy could appreciate that. Okay sure, it was just one of her list, but while that one was painfully obvious she was not about to fess up to resistance plans to this nit.

"You still have to do that while being concerned about your looks," Pansy remarked. She knew she was sounding shallow... then again, she always did that on purpose and everyone thought she was a total idiot. Which served her perfectly. "Tell you what!" she exclaimed. "In the spirit of house interaction, I'll do your hair and nails... You choose the time and place," she wiggled her brows at the red-head.

"Because you don't do polite," Ginny threw back as she rounded on the other again. "What you do is insults. And games. You delight in putting people down and causing suffering almost as you delight in being on your back and otherwise causing trouble. I'd need a labotomy to believe your intentions were anything other than unpleasant Parkinson because they always are."

"A little rich coming from the gossip queen," she pointed out, eyebrow arching. Seriously... like all of the rumours about Harry had usually stemmed back to Pansy, or at the very least been exacerbated by her. "Besides, the evidence is clear to see. You're hardly discrete and Gryffindor rarely bothers with secrets."
